A lot of people go on holiday once a year if not more than once if they can. From UK approximately 50% of population go on holiday every year and it might even be more than that. Many people go on different types of vacations. Some enjoy going on luxury cruises holidays and some try and find cheap holidays anywhere in the Europe with their friends and family.
What is your ideal vacation?
Most UK citizens go to Europe for a heavy weekend. Heavy weekend meaning weekend which is full of drinks, sun and dancing. Trust me that is all they go on holiday for. They like visiting places with good warm weather as in the UK we hardly have sunshine. There places such as Barcelona, Mallorca, Ibiza, Istanbul and Athens full of British tourists. We just love going to Spain, Greece and Turkey. But some other people love going on a cruise to places such as Bahamas or other the Caribbean islands.
Age factor also plays a massive part on choosing a certain type of holiday. It has been said that young people like going to places where they can enjoy fabulous night outs, nice beach and other outdoor activities. Whereas people with family like to go for a different reasons because they have children who want to go to Disney land. There is nothing wrong with this Disney land can be fun for adults too as I have been there and I had a fantastic time.
When you are young you have no responsiblities so you can go to any sort of holiday with your friends and have a great time drinking, dancing or doing something else. I am 42 now with three children so to be honest I would rather choose a holiday where I can get some relaxation time with peaceful environment but also a place where my children can have a stunning time but not Disney land again I don’t think I can handle the rides anymore. In the past we have been on MSC cruises and Windstar cruises in the past and they were fantastic.
